Alia is busy promoting her upcoming film Kalank. To market the film, her well-thought-out look in different get-ups is being released in the market gradually.
Recently, she was shown in traditional attire — demure and coy. The look went viral on social media and many heaped praises on her.
In this look, Alia is seen in a gorgeous, luxurious pink Banarasi suit. To complete this look, her designer and make-up artiste seem to have worked together. She is seen here sporting a light ponytail with light makeup, smoky eyes and nude lipstick.
Alia is seen wearing heavy earrings in the ears and has a banner on her forehead, which is adding to her look.
While many loved this look of Alia very much, some described her appearance as a copy of Deepika Padukone!
A user, commenting on this look of Alia, wrote on Instagram: “Boyfriend bhi chin Liya uska an style b chin Rahi hooo (sic) (You took away her boyfriend and now you are snatching the style too).”
A second user commented, “Trying to copy Deepika badly, but cannot match up to her personality.”
The trolling continued.
The Kalank star was told: “Srsly (sic). You need to stop copying deepika. And for some reason my comments on your previous pictures have got deleted. I’m sure even now most of the comments that you are ‘copying deepika’ must have been deleted. You are only making it worse for yourself.”
Alia, Deepika, boyfriend: What’s the brouhaha about?
Bollywoodshaadis[dot]com reported before the release of Gully Boy, “We all know that at one point, Ranbir and Deepika were head-over-heels in love with each other, and now, Ranbir is dating Alia.”
When Gully Boy released, NDTV wrote: “Alia Bhatt and her rumoured boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor checked in at The View (a state-of-the-art theatre) later in the evening while Ranveer took his actress wife Deepika Padukone to Yash Raj Films studio for a couple-special Gully Boy screening.”
Times Now had reported last September, “… when you see ex-flames Ranbir and Deepika bonding so comfortably along with their current partners Alia and Ranveer in company, you only realise how times are changing. Gone are those days when exes would avoid crossing paths with each other.”
