Virat-Anushka not to appear on Koffee with Karan

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma on Sunday confirmed that she and her husband Virat Kohli will not be part of Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee with Karan.

It was reported earlier that there was a possibility of the lovely couple appearing on the famous show Koffee with Karan season 6 which is hosted by the Bollywood director Karan Johar.

Anushka Sharma’s spokesperson said, there is absolutely no truth that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli will be on the next season of Koffee with Karan. Request you to please refrain from any such conjecture.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been the most talked about couple ever since they got married in December last year in Italy.

Koffee with Karan has always been one of the most talked about shows on television and is known for the level of wit, humour, and fun they bring.

Reports were doing the round that Anushka will appear on the show to promote her upcoming movie Pari with her co-producer Prernaa Arora, and Virat will join them for one segment.

Anushka had come with her good friend Katrina Kaif in season 5.

Virat is currently in South Africa for a tournament, which will be over by 24 February.

The show airs on Star World India. It is also telecast on other channels of the same network like Star Plus and Star One.

The show began to air in 2004 and was a huge success. The first episode aired on 20 November 2004 and the first season ended on 28 May 2005.

The fifth season of the show premiered on 6 November 2016 with Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt.

Anushka is currently busy with her upcoming film Pari and the teasers of the film have already given chills down our spines. Apart from that, she is also working on Aanand L Rai’s film Zero which also stars Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
