Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal may get married in Goa in May this year. The actor is going to marry his girlfriend Natasha Dalal in May this year. According to reports in Bollywood Hungama, the couple is going for a grand Indian wedding. A producer told the website that Varun, like elder brother Rohit, wants to marry Natasha in Goa.
Explaining this, the producer said, “Obviously, Varun and Natasha are planning to get married in May this year. It will be a grand wedding in the summer, which will last for a week, it will have all the events including mehndi, music and reception. Most of the functions will be held in a luxury hotel or beach resort in Goa. Varun wants to marry Natasha following the style of his brother Rohit’s wedding with Jahnavi eight years ago. Some Bollywood actors have been asked to keep some dates free for the wedding of Varun and Natasha between the second and third week of May.”
Though those dates have not yet been made public, it will not be a secret wedding like Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Varun’s wedding will have a band, baja and baaraat, Bollywood-style. Two years ago, Sonam Kapoor married Anand Ahuja in Mumbai in May. The wedding was attended by many Bollywood actors. Varun’s film Street Dancer 3D is scheduled to release later this month and Coolie No.1 is scheduled to release on 1 May.
The film is directed by Varun’s father David Dhawan. The film features Sara Ali Khan too. He may also begin shooting for his film Mr Lele in March. Varun and Natasha recently welcomed the new year together in Switzerland.
Varun has been in a romantic relationship with Natasha, a designer, with whom he attended school.
The actor has appeared in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2014, peaking at the 15th position in 2018. That year, the magazine estimated his annual income to be Rs 495.8 million. It listed him as one of the highest-paid celebrities in the country. In the same year, the Indian edition of GQ featured him among the nation’s 50 most influential young people and labelled him the “most bankable star of his generation”.
