Power Grid says fear of tripping at 9:09 PM on 5 April baseless

Once the Ministry of Power made its statement, the critics cut a sorry figure, with politicians asking why the prime minister's statements call for clarifications and 'experts' saying this was avoidable

Terrorist links of Tablighi Jamaat include Masood Azhar, Osama bin Laden

Maulana Masood Azhar, the founder of the terrorist group Harkat ul Mujahideen which underwent several name changes to finally become Jaish-e-Mohammed, is not only a member of the Tablighi Jamaat but also a once close associate of Osama bin Laden

US President Donald Trump is excited about his visit to India. The US president is expressing his eagerness by constantly tweeting about his tour of India. Before his visit, he is also constantly praising Prime Minister Modi.

Trump said in a tweet it was an honour for him that Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg declared the US president as the most followed personality on Facebook and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the second-most followed one.

“I am going to India in two weeks. Looking forward to it!” the US president wrote.

According to Twiplomacy’s 2019 rankings, however, Prime Minister Modi is the most followed leader among the world’s leaders. Modi has 44 million followers on Facebook whereas Trump has about 26 million followers.

However, former US President Barack Obama is still about 10 million followers ahead of Prime Minister Modi.

But personalities outside the political world, those from the fields of entertainment and sports, are far, far ahead of any politician. And a service provider and a product manufacturer/seller are even more popular than these personalities: Facebook itself and Samsung.

Kem Chho, Trump!

The US president is visiting India on 24 February. He will be in Ahmedabad and Delhi on a two-day tour. This is Trump’s first Indian visit after becoming US President.

The international cricket fraternity is not unaware of the name of Sardar Patel Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. Due to its reconstruction for some years, matches are not being held in this stadium. Now the reconstruction work is complete. The US president will inaugurate the refurbished stadium.

Trump is visiting India on 24 and 25 February. He will participate in the ‘Kem Chho, Trump!’ event organised on the lines of ‘Howdy Modi’ in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

An event like Howdy Modi will welcome US President Trump in India to influence the Indian-American voters in the presidential elections to be held in November this year. According to the organisers who are preparing for US president’s programmes in India, when his itinerary needed visits to a city other than Delhi, the government asked the American counterpart to reschedule it in a manner so that Ahmedabad gets to host Trump. According to the organisers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join the event with the US president.
