Mumbai: Actor Sidharth Malhotra has finally moved on from his bitter break-up with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt. Though the duo never confirmed their relationship, their pictures and actions were proof for any Bollywood lover to know that they’re anything but just friends. The actor has always refrained from talking about his personal life, but now he has openly declared his current relationship status as single.
Recently, Sidharth Malhotra refused a pair-up with Alia for a soft drink brand. The 33-year-old actor may have gone through a rollercoaster ride of emotions and struggled with bonding in his past relationship, but he is still trying to understand the process of what love is.
In an interview, Sidharth said,”I am very much single!” Rumours were also rife that it was Jacqueline Fernandez, who came between Alia but Sidharth but Alia & Jacqueline. Sid and Alia were in an on-off relationship for around 2 years before they finally called it quits last year.
However, Sidharth has learnt one thing about having a perfect girl in his life. “It’s a mirage, it’s a cheat! There is no such thing as a perfect girl. It’s not how someone is, it’s how they make you feel. That’s more important.
He added, “That feeling is a sense of positivity and warmth, and you know that there is something real to it.”
Sid’s break-up with Alia Bhatt and link-up rumours with Jacqueline did rounds of the B-town. But Sidharth doesn’t let negative things affect him in any way.
Sidharth was last seen in Aiyaary, but the movie was not a success as audience expected from ‘Sid’. He will be next seen in Vikram Batra biopic. Sidharth and Alia started their career together in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year.
Alia is busy in Meghna Gulzar’s thriller Raazi, an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat, set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. She is filming opposite Ranveer Singh for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. She has also committed to star with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy film trilogy, the first of which is named Brahmastra.
