Kuldeep Kumar Rao, member of a self-styled All Jammu & Kashmir Movement for Peace & Justice, in a press handout issued in Jammu, has warmly welcomed the vote for change in the country and observed that for the first time the Indian voters, particularly those of Bihar, UP as also the State the outfit is based in, have risen above casteism and “provocative utterances of some so-called stalwarts of regional parties”.
“The verdict of the masses is really for a change in which the Congress has itself contributed a lot,” the press release notes, “instead of some miracles” of the Bharatiya Janata Party “because people were fed up with the unprecedented scandals, price rise, corruption, misgovernance and misrule” of the Congress-led UPA-II Government. The release said that the people in Jammu & Kashmir “have shown their anger against the dynastic rule” of the National Conference, which results of Election 2014 reflected. Jammu & Kashmir has sent 3 BJP representatives to Parliament this time.
Rao hopes the Modi-led Government fulfils its long list of promises made to the public of the country who have pinned high hopes on him. On a warning note, the press release says the people will keep the new government on constant watch. The AJKMPJ believes the BJP dealt with Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party “in haste” in Delhi.
