Salman Khan will romance three leading actresses in Bharat

Salman Khan will be seen romancing three leading ladies in the film – Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani

Mumbai: Salman Khan‘s Bharat is one of the most interesting movies that has been announced recently. Ali Abbas Zafar is collaborating with Salman for the third time for the remake of a very well acclaimed South Korean film, Ode to My Father.

The period drama is expected to be one of the challenging roles for the lead actor as he’ll don five different looks in the film, which will show his journey from the age of 18 to 70. Salman will be seen transforming from one look to another with the help of prosthetics and VFX, considering it spans over 70 years from the 1940s. Each avatar will reflect the character’s transition; reflect on his life and times.

Salman Khan will be seen romancing three leading ladies in the film – Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani. Disha will play Salman’s love interest during his teenage, Priyanka and Katrina will come in the film at the time of Salman’s middle-aged avatar.

Earlier there were rumours that Shraddha Kapoor has been approached for the same. However, the actress had soon denied all such rumours.

Priyanka will have more screen time and meatier role as compared to other actresses in the film. Bharat is an official adaptation of the South Korean movie – Ode To My Father. The Korean film depicted the history of the country from the 1950s to present-day through the life of a man. According to producer Atul Agnihotri, Bharat will show us the journey of Salman and India from 1947 to the early 2000s.

Priyanka and Salman have earlier worked together in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi in 2004, Salaam-E-Ishq in 2007 and God Tussi Great Ho in 2008. Priyanka was last seen in Bollywood movie in Jai Gangaajal directed by Prakash Jha, where she essayed the role of an IPS officer. Priyanka has also worked with director Ali in 2014’s Gunday, which was a box office success.

The film will feature Salman sporting different looks spanning 60 years. Salman will be recreating his Karan Arjun look for Bharat. The film will be shot in Spain, Abu Dhabi, Punjab and Delhi. The period drama will be released on Eid 2019.
