Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali to collaborate on a film titled Inshallah

Salman is also busy hosting TV show Dus Ka Dum, His latest release race 3  surpassed the INR 100 crore mark in the first week

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 11 years of differences. While talking about his upcoming projects earlier, the Kick actor confirmed that there is a film with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the pipeline.

Now as per the report, Sanjay’s production house has recently registered the title Inshallah with Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association.

Inshallah might be the title of the film that will reunite Sanjay and Salman. He got the title registered last week with IMPAA. And looking at Bhansali’s working style, he might take six to nine months to complete the final draft of the script, and he may start shooting by next year after Salman is done with his other prior commitments including his next film, Bharat,”  the publication reported while quoting a source.

Salman is also busy hosting TV show Dus Ka Dum. His latest release race 3  surpassed the INR 100 crore mark in the first week but couldn’t impress critics.

Salman and Bhansali have previously collaborated for three films- Saawariya, Khamoshi: The Musical and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam– and given cine-buffs a few gems to remember.

Meanwhile, Salman had announced that he will feature in Bhansali’s film during the promotions of Race 3. The actor had put to rest the rumours surrounding his upcoming professional commitments and said, “There is no No Entry or Wanted sequel happening. I am doing Bharat, Dabangg 3 and Sher Khan. The Kick 2 script isn’t ready at the moment and then there is a dance film with Remo and one Bhansali film when he comes and narrates it. We recently discussed it.”

Bhansali’s last film, Padmaavat, co-starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in key roles, had a difficult released due to the controversies it was mired in.

If rumors are to be believed, this movie will be released by Eid 2020.
