Recently, Rishi tweeted and said, “Dear fellow Indians. We must and have to declare (an) EMERGENCY. Look at what’s happening all over the country! If the TV is to believed, people are beating policemen and medical staff! There is no other way to contain the situation. It is only good for all of us. Panic is setting in.”

It will be good for all of us. People are coming in panic. The actor himself is spending time at home with his family, following the lockdown at this time, he is imprisoned in his house. His post and videos on social media have confirmed that he is in his house.

On Tuesday evening, PM Narendra Modi had announced a lockdown of 21 days in wake of the widespread Covid-19 outbreak. He had earlier come out in support of the lockdown saying the citizens have no other option but to isolate themselves.

Like always, Rishi Kapoor has been very active on social media and has shared his opinions on coronavirus. A few days ago, when a section of Twitter users teasingly asked him if he was well stocked up on alcohol, he became furious and warned that anyone cracking jokes about his lifestyle or the country will be deleted. He also appealed to his followers to be serious to tide over the situation.
