Rhea faces tough interrogation; interview with Rajdeep damned

The Enforcement Directorate has handed over chat records of the actress to the NCB over a possible drug use angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. The recovered Whatsapp chats of Rhea allegedly indicate that she was taking instructions from someone to administer a to the late actor.

Reacting to the Narcotics Control Bureau’s into the dealings of Rhea, Sushant’s niece Mallika Singh said, “I can’t even begin to imagine what it would feel like to be drugged without your knowledge, be told you’re crazy when it takes effect, and keep you in that loop for months. It would take a lot cruelty to continuously play with someone like that.”

Another sister of Sushant, Shweta Singh rubbished Rhea Chakraborty‘s interview with Rajdeep Sardesai, which a large section of the journalistic fraternity has condemned as a “PR exercise”. The starlet had cast aspersions on the entire family of Sushant in the interview. Reacting to the puff tête-à-tête where Rhea said Sushant was close to none in the family, Shweta said she had rushed in a flight from the US to see her brother when he had reported ill in Chandigarh.

Meanwhile, sources in the CBI said Rhea will be questioned why she fired Sushant’s house staff but stayed in touch with Siddharth Pithani and Samuel Miranda after the actor’s death.

The other questions Rhea faces are as follows:

1.Who informed her about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death? Where was she?

  1. On hearing of the death, did she go to his Bandra home? If not, why, when and where did she see his body?
  2. Why did she leave Sushant Singh Rajput’s home on 8 June?
4.Did she leave the actor’s home after any fight?
  3. After leaving Sushant Singh Rajput’s home, did she have any communication with him between 9 and 14 June? If yes, what was it about and if not, why?
6.Did Sushant Singh Rajput try to communicate with her in those days? Did she ignore his calls and messages? If so, why? Why did she block his calls?
  4. Did Sushant Singh Rajput try reaching out to any of her family members? What was the communication about?
  5. Details of Sushant Singh Rajput’s health issues and the treatment he was taking. Details of doctors, psychiatrists and medication.
  6. What was Rhea Chakraborty’s relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput’s family?
  7. Why did she ask for a CBI into the death? Did she sense foul play?

Rhea is at the moment answering these questions at the DRDO guest house. Miranda had arrived at this ‘interrogation before her.

Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said earlier today that reports of his fighting her case for free were false.

Rhea-Rajdeep ‘PR exercise’

Among the damning commentaries on the interview broadcast and published by India Today is an article by The Frustrated Indian that reads: “To back out of the corner, Rhea Chakraborty has undertaken an ambitious PR exercise which is going to backfire gloriously as Indians are in no mood to buy Sushant’s depression theory.”

Lawyer Ishkaran Singh Bhandari, believed to be close to BJP MP Subramanian Swamy, mocked the interview on Twitter, saying, “Rajdeep Sardesai felt Sushant Singh Rajput is Small actor.

Then he felt Media should not cover ongoing Case.

Today- he does 2 hour interview & suddenly it’s not media Trial, not PR exercise but Journalism.

Hypocrisy at Peak!”

Bhandari, who has been keenly following the Sushant case, is now a regular panellist on Arnab Goswami’s shows dedicated to the mysterious death of the actor from Bihar.

OpIndia suggested Rajdeep Sardesai must now take up a PR assignment from the Islamic State (ISIS).

Columnist Sumeet Mehta wrote on Facebook, “Rajdeep came from Delhi to interview Rhea and wasnt forced into quarantine. But Bihar Police was quarantined.”
