In yet another big development in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, incriminating WhatsApp conversations of Rhea Chakraborty have surfaced that hint at the alleged use of drugs by the Bollywood actress. Earlier, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy had said Sushant Singh Rajput might have been drugged before he was murdered.
A series of WhatsApp messages sent from Rhea Chakraborty’s mobile phone reveals Rhea’s sporadic use of drugs like MDMA, marijuana, etc.
In one of the conversations, Rhea is talking to an alleged drug dealer named Gaurav Ayra. She says “In case we speak about hard drugs, I haven’t been doing too much. Tried MDMA once” and goes on to ask “You have MD?”
In another conversation, a contact saved as ‘Miranda Sushi’ in Rhea’s phone tells the actress “Hi Rhea, the stuff is almost over.” Miranda then asks Rhea “Should we take it from Showik’s friend? But he has just hash & bud.”
However, the most startling conversation retrieved by media was between Rhea and her friend named Jaya Saha.
On 25 November, 2019, Jaya texts Rhea “Use 4 drops in tea or water and let him sip it… Give it 30-40 minutes to kick in”.
“Thank you so much,” Rhea texts Jaya Saha, and Jaya replies saying “No problem bro, hope it helps”.
It should be noted that Rhea Chakraborty had herself claimed that she was the girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput in an Instagram post, and back in November 2019, she was reportedly living with the Kai Po Che actor at his Bandra residence.
According to reports, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is likely to initiate investigations in the case after the emergence of the ‘drug conspiracy’ in the death case.
CBI to grill Siddharth Pithani and others
While the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is probing the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, every day there is a new development exposing people who claimed to be close to the late actor. In a shocking twist to the mystery, actress and girlfriend of Sushant, Rhea Chakraborty’s WhatsApp chat has hinted at a possible drug conspiracy.
The deleted WhatsApp chats were reportedly retrieved. They unfold the conversation between Rhea and Gaurav Arya ― the man who is allegedly a drug dealer. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation in Sushant’s case has revealed details about Rhea’s conversation about drugs in WhatsApp chat. It is likely that that the CBI team joins hands with the ED in order to analyze the data of Rhea’s phone.
After this sensational exposé, sources said the CBI would question Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, cook Neeraj, house manager Samuel Miranda, staff Deepesh Sawant once again in the light of the latest findings.
All these people were close to Sushant and Rhea while they stayed together. The CBI will, therefore, quiz them over this new-found drug controversy, sources said.
‘This indicates Sushant was drugged to death’
Responding to the messages, Vikas Singh, the lawyer representing Sushant’s family, said that it was ‘highly illegal’ for such drugs to be administered to the late actor without his knowledge. Speaking to a television channel, he said, “In our FIR, we have mentioned that he used to be over-drugged. We were under the impression that this was some drug administered by a doctor, a psychiatrist, but this revelation is absolutely explosive. Probably, he was being literally drugged, meaning he was given these hardcore drugs which are given to someone to sort of control his mind.”
“It is quite obvious that what was done to Sushant was definitely highly illegal and highly criminal. These drugs were being used to either control him, calm him down or make him docile. That is what the servants also say, that he used to be sleeping on the ground floor. He had a duplex, sixth floor and seventh floor. He used to be sleeping on one floor and there were parties going on on the other floor. Rhea used to be having a party and Sushant used to be sleeping on the other floor. So, there was definitely an element of actual drugging. Not drugging in the sense that we had said in the FIR, but actual drugging. It means that he was administered something contrary to his will, without his knowledge, and the purpose of that drugging was to subdue him, make him docile or to affect his mind very badly. That is ultimately what led to his death,” he said.
