New Delhi: Reliance Jio has been in the telecom market for nearly two-and-a-half years. The company has been continuously offering new plans after launch. The prices of these plans are much less than those of the competing services. The company has once again pleasantly surprised consumers.
Reliance Jio’s subscriber base expanded tremendously in December. According to data released by the TRAI on Wednesday, the respective user bases of Vodafone and Airtel dropped significantly in the same duration.
According to the report, Reliance Jio added more than 85.6 lakh subscribers in the month of December. It now has 28.01 crore users.
According to the TRAI report, Vodafone-Idea remains the largest telecom operator going by the subscriber base. But the company has lost 23.32 lakh subscribers. Now the company has 41.87 crore subscribers.
Airtel’s total subscriber base is 34.03 crore. The company suffered a loss of 15.01 lakh users compared to the month of November.
