Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s love story has become a recent favourite with fans. What began on the sets of their upcoming film Brahmastra has blossomed into a full-fledged romance.

While the lovebirds have been busy shooting for their first sci-fi film, gossip mills back home are busy churning out some juicy news every now and then. If the latest buzz is to be believed, Ranbir and Alia might tie the knot sometime next year.

With most Bollywood jodis taking the plunge, now all eyes are set to Ranbir and Alia. While Alia Bhatt plans to get married “sooner than anyone expects”, her boyfriend Ranbir, too, wants to get settled down soon.

In one of her interviews, the Raazi actor mentioned that she could surprise people by getting married earlier than expected and then a stray comment about marriage being on Ranbir’s mind followed. But the actor has cleared the air about the speculation.

“ It’s all a part of show business. You make up a story, and soon, there’s another story of the first story, and so on. I have always believed that marriage is something that will happen naturally. It can’t be like, ‘Okay, I am 35 now, so it’s time to get married’. It should come to you and your partner naturally and you should both feel, ‘This is the right phase. Now, we should take this relationship to the next level’. But abhi aisi koi baat nai hai. I haven’t decided on marriage yet, Ranbir said.

The Rockstar actor added, “I haven’t decided on marriage yet.”

It is no secret that the cupid struck Alia and Ranbir on the sets of Brahmastra, and soon turned into a love story. And their grand entry at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s reception only grabbed more eyeballs.

But more than anything, Ranbir’s confirmation on their relationship status only added to the hype.

On the work front, Ranbir and Alia will be seen together on the big screen for the first time in Brahmastra. The film is set to hit the screens in 2019.
