Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar have started working for their upcoming film The Sky is Pink. The production house of the movie shared a video of the stars in work mode in the official Instagram account.

Actress Priyanka Chopra is all over the news for her recent exit from Salman Khan’s Bharat. As per Ali Abbas Zafar’s tweet, PeeCee has left the film for a ‘very special reason’, the reason which is being speculated to be her secret engagement to boyfriend Nick Jonas. US media reports are saying that the couple was engaged on Priyanka’s birthday which was on 18 July. The duo celebrated the birthday in London.

The film is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with an immune deficiency order at the age of 13. The movie is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under his home banner Roy Kapur Films. The official release date of the movie is yet to be announced.

In 2016, the Government of India honoured her with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, and Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Forbes listed her among the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women in 2017.

Chopra has also committed to star as the lawyer Vanita Gupta in Gordan’s courtroom drama Tulia, an adaptation of a non-fiction book Tulia: Race, Cocaine, and Corruption based on the 1999 racial injustice case that took place in the city of the same name. She is also producing over a dozen regional films in various languages under her production company. She has signed Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury to direct a Hindi film starring her for her company. Chopra is also developing a sitcom for ABC based on the life of Madhuri Dixit, for which she will serve as an executive producer.
