Two of the six terror suspects, arrested from Delhi earlier this week, were heavily radicalised in Pakistan by showing videos of communal riots in India. Zeeshan and Osama were taken to Pakistan and shown videos of Gujarat’s Godhra riots and Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar riots in the terror camps.

Delhi Police said that during interrogation, both suspects disclosed that they had received training at Thatta in Pakistan to carry out bombings on bridges, railway tracks and large gatherings to trouble India’s economy.

Despite traveling to Pakistan, their passports are not stamped. They had taken the sea route and entered through Gwadar Port. They used a motorboat while en route to Pakistan from Oman.

The investigation revealed that the planning was similar to the 1993 Mumbai blasts. People from different locations were supposed to meet after conducting recces in different locations.

Sources claimed that the role of sleeper cells has also emerged. Meanwhile, the master mind of this whole operation is stated to be Humaid, who is Osama’s uncle.

Anti-terror conference to be held in Delhi today

An anti-terror conference will be held at Delhi Police Headquarters today to discuss the new models and threats of terrorism, said sources.

Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana, who has recently returned from Mumbai to Delhi, will be part of the conference.

State Anti Terror Squad (ATS) officers and senior officers of intelligence agencies will also be involved, while few officials will join via video conferencing as well, sources said.

Uttar Pradesh Additional Director General Of Police Prashant Kumar said police busted an ISI-sponsored module after raids in four districts of Lucknow, Rae Bareilly, Pratapgarh, and Prayagraj.

On 14 September, police conducted raids in Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and arrested the six suspects Jan Mohammed Sheikh was arrested in Kota,Rajasthan while on his way to Delhi; Osama in Okhla in Delhi; Mohd Abu Bakar in Sarai Kale Khan; Zeeshan in Allahabad; Javed in Lucknow: and Moolchand in Rae Bareilly.
