Politics India Owaisi: Mamata should worry about her own home

Rejecting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s allegation that the BJP was spending crores to bring AIMIM to the state to sharpen the communal polarisation and divide the Hindu-Muslim votes among themselves as “baseless” Asaduddin Owaisi said never was a man born who can buy him with money.

Owaisi advised the Mamata Banerjee to worry about her own home as many of her people are going to BJP and accused Mamata of insulting the voters of Bihar and the people who voted for his party.

Owaisi has been accused of being a BJP agent before

To divide the Muslim votes, the BJP is spending crores of rupees to bring in a party from Hyderabad, said Mamata Banerjee while addressing a rally in the poll-bound state.

The plan is that BJP will eat into Hindu votes, and this Hyderabad party will eat into Muslim votes, she added.

The Trinamool Congress further claimed that the BJP and AIMIM had done the same thing in Bihar polls.

This party is a B-team of the BJP, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said.

After its debacle in Bihar polls, the Indian National Congress (INC) had termed AIMIM as BJP’s B-team.

‘Mamata insulted Bihar voters and people who voted for AIMIM’

Last month, AIMIM leader Anwar Pasha joined Trinamool Congress and alleged that Owaisi’s party had polarized Bihar polls to help BJP come to power. Addressing a press conference he further said that this cannot be allowed in Bengal.

If the Bihar model is implemented in Bengal then it will be covered in blood as 30% minorities live here, said Pasha. On cloud nine after successful Bihar assembly results, the AIMIM announced its plan to contest in next year’s Bengal polls.

Owaisi’s party won five seats in the Muslims dominated Seemanchal region on the border of West Bengal, media reported.
