Mumbai: Rumours fly in media about a possible reunion of the divorced couple Sussanne Khan and Hrithik Roshan, the couple continues to go out on film dates and holidays with their children Hrehaan and Hridaan. They had earlier said they would continue to co-parent their sons.

Sources, however, indicate that while re-marriage may not be on the cards, the estranged couple is certainly making sure that they find time for their children. “A remarriage between Sussanne and Hrithik at the moment is more of wishful thinking. They are right now taking out time together whenever the need arises to be with their children and making sure that they get the best from their parents. The couple got married in the year 2000 and divorced in 2014.

The source further explained that both Hrithik and Sussanne are independent, free-thinking individuals and will take a call if they are sure they want to get back together as a married couple. Only they could decide that and that till then people should desist from speculating.

In fact, it may be recalled that the two, despite their differences and eventual divorce, have always supported each other in times of need. Hrithik has always supported Sussanne’s career choices post her divorce and often rubbished reports like she demanding an expensive alimony as her divorce settlement.

She, on her part, has stood by him when the tides turned against him as was the case when the Kangana Ranaut-Hrithik Roshan fight was at its peak.

After 14 years of being together, Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan’s divorce was finalised in Mumbai on 1 November 2014. “They have got divorced in a very unique and elegant way where there is no alimony and not a single document drawn up between them,” Roshan’s lawyer Deepesh Mehta had said in a statement to the media at the time. “It’s all on a basis of trust, respect, and faith.”

There is no doubt that this one of the most-loved Bollywood couple. On the work front, Hrithik Roshan will be seen next in Anand Kumar biopic, Super 30.
