Netflix releasing 5 web series in September

It’s the ninth month of the year and only a quarter is left of the year 2021. Due to pandemics and lockdown, the entertainment got a major hit. But there was compensation by way of the rise of OTT platforms. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, Hotstar, Zee 5 and other digital platforms became the new way of consuming content. 

Money Heist Season 5 leads the lineup on Netflix in September, with the five-episode Volume 1 that was released on 3 September. The final five episodes will arrive in December.

A week later on 10 September, Lucifer started his devilish journey at Fox with the first three seasons. It will wrap things up at Netflix with a 10-episode sixth and final season.

Then a week from that on 17 September, Sex Education will drop its -delayed third season.

Outside of originals but still a major title for September, we have Rick and Morty Season 5 that dropped two final episodes on 6 September on Netflix in India.

1) Money Heist Part 5 Volume 1

A professor, who is a mastermind of the biggest heist in history, returns with a new and much more stirring and action-packed plan this time. The last four seasons of the series receives huge applaud from the Indian audiences as well as worldwide. Now the Season 5 is out too on the streaming giant Netflix, whose second instalment well will be premiered at the end of this year.

2) Lucifer Season 6

Lucifer is a DC Comics-based character, and the web series marks his journey of transforming into a caring lover from a heartbreaker and eventually becoming a god. Previous seasons of the fascinating series received an overwhelming response from the audiences, and now the sixth season is already out on Netflix.

3) Sex Education

The series clearly deals with the tough questions regarding sex, especially faced by teenagers. The show goes through some less talked issues of the society such as the LGBTQ community, sexual assaults and much more. The third season of the show release on Netflix on 17 September.

4) Dear White People Season 4

Deep-rooted racial discrimination in western societies and its impact on young minds is presented in the series in an all satirical way. Its fourth is all set to be premiered on Netflix on 22 September.

5) Midnight Mass Season 1

Helmed by Mike Flanagan, the horror web series is divided into seven episodes, revolves around an isolated island the spine-chilling events occurring on it. It will stream on Netflix on 24 September.
