Neha Dhupia ties the knot with Angad Bedi

Neha looked radiant in a soft pink lehenga, which she accentuated with gold jewellery and a maagteeka while Angad complemented her in a white sherwani and a pink turban

New Delhi: Just a few days ago, Sonam Kapoor married her longtime beau Anand Ahuja and while the world was caught up in that storm, Neha and Angad maintained a low profile and tied the knot.

Neha Dhupia just posted a picture on social media announcing her wedding to actor Angad Bedi. Neha posted a picture of the two with the caption, “Best decision of my life.. today, I married my best friend. Hello there, husband! @angadbedi”. Bedi also put up a post declaring the same with the caption, “Best friend… now Wife!!! Well hello there Mrs BEDI!!! @nehadhupia.”

From the pictures, it looks like the wedding was held following Sikh rituals. The two had never openly declared their relationship status and this news came as a surprise to their fans.

The wedding happened as per Sikh tradition at a gurudwara in New Delhi. Neha looked radiant in a soft pink lehenga, which she accentuated with gold jewellery and a maagteeka while Angad complemented her in a white sherwani and a pink turban.

They were dating for some time. Neha and Angad had a hush-hush wedding. Angad is the son of ex-India cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi. The wedding was attended by Ajay Jadeja, Ashish Nehra and Gaurav Kapoor.

On the work front, Neha Dhupia is busy with her chat shows on radio and TV. She is also doing many films. She was recently seen in Tumhari Sulu and Qarib Qarib Single.

Angad Bedi played an important role in Salman Khan-starrer Tiger Zinda Hai. Before that, he was seen in Pink in a negative role. His next venture is Soorma in which he is playing a hockey player.

Dhupia made her film debut in the 2003 Bollywood film Qayamat: City Under Threat, which had an average performance at the box office. She rose to fame with her role as Julie and then appeared in Sheesha (2005) in a dual role of twin sisters but it did not do well at the box office. She then starred in films such as Kyaa Kool Hai Hum (2005) and Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007), which did well at the box office, and featured in a segment of the anthology film Dus Kahaniyaan.

Earlier there were many rumours of the two being in a relationship, but both the stars never opened about the same in public. However, their social media pages had another story to tell.

Soon as the news broke many Bollywood stars like Karan Johar, Soha Ali Khan, Rannvijay Singh and others congratulated them for the new innings in their lives.
