Uttar Pradesh Police arrested a group of five Muslim men for allegedly trafficking Hindu girls. The traffickers’ Aadhar cards bearing Hindu names were seized from their possession on 26 July after the arrest.
The gang of Muslims had brought three Hindu girls from Jharkhand, luring them with offers of jobs, the fake documents for which were found in their possession. The group is accused of selling off the victims to depraved men who would pay any amount for young girls.
The gang leader has been identified as a certain Saeed Ansari. Police seized his Aadhar card that bears the name “Rahul Gupta”.
Ansari’s accomplices have been identified as Nafisa Bibi (woman), Rahim Ansari and Kalam Khan among others.
