The Muslim man, Mohammed Sahil, attacked the newlywed couple, Mohan and Tanishka Sharma, in Village Bhali-Anandpur when the couple was going home

A Muslim man fired six bullets at a Hindu girl on the day of her wedding, 2 December, in District Rohtak, Haryana. Identified as Mohammed Sahil, he nearly killed Tanishka Sharma in Haryana’s Sampla on her wedding day. Tanishka is battling for her life in PGI Rohtak according to a report in Organiser.

“When we reached near the Shiv temple around 11:30 PM, an Innova (car) that was chasing us for quite some time overtook our vehicle and blocked our way. Three people were seated in the car. Two of them came out, carrying revolvers, and asked Sunil to open our car door.

“They snatched the car keys, fired multiple gunshots at Tanishka. When Sunil tried to intervene, they assaulted him and snatched his chain. They fled after firing gunshots in the air. Tanishka was admitted to Rohtak’s PGIMS where her condition is stated to be critical”, bridegroom Mohan said.

Mohan, a resident of Bhali-Anandpur village, got married to Tanishka Sharma, a resident of Sampla village, on 1 December. The Muslim man attacked the couple in Village Bhali-Anandpur when the couple was going home. Mohan’s brother Sunil was driving the car.

The incident was captured on a camera. The Haryana government had formed an SIT to investigate the murder.
