Modi’s team for 2nd gen reforms?

New Delhi — Today’s newspapers have reported that a new team of bureaucrats have been put in place with a view to usher in much awaited reforms in the economic sector next year. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments:

Shaktikanta Das, IAS (Tamil Nadu: 1980), Secretary, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance as Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance vice Rajiv Mehrishi, IAS (Rajasthan:1978) on his superannuation on 31 August.
