Kangana Ranaut is currently at her home in Manali. She is spending most of the time with her family amidst the COVID-19 outbreak and the subsequent lockdown. Seeing the pandemic, several celebs are coming forward to do their bit for helping the sufferers. Now, on Wednesday, Kangana Ranaut has also joined this league.

Revealing the news on her Twitter handle, Kangana’s sister and Manager Rangoli Chandel said that The Panga actress has donated a sum of Rs 25 Lakh towards the PM CARES relief fund to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.

Rangoli shared a screengrab of the bank transactions on her Twitter account.

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut had also shared a video of herself talking about how she is holding up during the lockdown period. The Manikarnika actress also shared a video stating what kind of books people can read during the lockdown.

Kangana has also advised that apart from binge-watching films and TV series, people should invest their time in reading valuable books.

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut did a live session with an online portal recently where she announced that she’s doing a film based on Ayodhya Ram Mandir. She said she’s been watching Ramayana in the quarantine period. She “I was watching Ramayana last night because I’m making a film on that subject – Ayodhya. It seems to be quite wonderful for the times that it has been made in.”

She further added, “We have the first draft ready and I’m now getting into the second draft. Everything has come to a standstill now. I’ll give you all the details soon.” Now we wonder if the actress will don the director’s hat for this one. Rumours are strong that the film will revolve around the journey of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir over the last 500 years.

Recently, the actress also opened up about her initial days in Bollywood and being addicted to drugs. She went on to say that it seemed only death could save her but thankfully, she founded spiritual guidance.
