नई दिल्ली — केन्द्रीय रक्षा, वित्त एवं कंपनी मामलों के मंत्री अरूण जेटली एक उच्च स्तरीय भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल के साथ आज से 3 दिनों की रूस की यात्रा पर रवाना हो चुके हैं जहां वे रूस की सरकार के साथ दो बैठकों की सह-अध्यक्षता करेंगे।

21 जून को जेटली विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी पर भारत-रूस उच्चस्तरीय समिति की पहली बैठक की सह-अध्यक्षता रूस के उप-प्रधानमंत्री दिमित्री रोगोज़िन के साथ करेंगे। उच्च-प्रौद्योगिकी में सहयोग पर चर्चा करने के लिए यह एक नई समिति है। यह बैठक नोवोसिबिर्स्क शहर में टेक्नोप्राम प्रदर्शनी के दौरान आयोजित की जाएगी।

रक्षा मंत्री टेक्नोप्राम के मुख्य सत्र को संबोधित भी करेंगे, जो रूस का एक प्रमुख वार्षिक विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी और नवाचार प्रदर्शनी है।

23 जून को रक्षा मंत्री अपने रूस के सहयोगी जनरल सर्गेई शूगू के साथ मास्को में सैन्य-तकनीकी सहयोग पर भारत-रूस अंतर-सरकारी आयोग की 17 वीं बैठक के सह-अध्यक्ष होंगे। इस बैठक में दोनों देशों के बीच विशेष और विशेषाधिकारित सामरिक भागीदारी के ढांचे के भीतर भारत और रूस के बीच सैन्य और सैन्य तकनीकी सहयोग के मुद्दों की पूरी श्रृंखला की समीक्षा भी होगी।


Minister of Defence, Finance and Corporate Affairs Arun Jaitley is embarking on 3-day visit from today to Russia with a high level Indian delegation, to co-chair two meetings with the government of the Russian Federation.

On 21 June, Jaitley will co-chair the first meeting of the India-Russia High-Level Committee on Science & Technology with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Rogozin. This is a newly established committee to discuss cooperation in high technologies. The meeting will be held on the sidelines of the Technoprom Exhibition in the city of Novosibirsk. The Defence Minister will also address the main Plenary Session of the Technoprom, which is a major annual science, technology and innovation exhibition of Russia.

On 23 June, the defence minister will co-chair the 17th meeting of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation in Moscow with his Russian counterpart, General Sergei Shoigu. The meeting will review the entire range of military and military-technical cooperation issues between India and Russia within the framework of the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
