Mumbai: After winning accolades for her work in Punjabi films, actress Isha Rikhi has now taken the route to Bollywood. The diva who has impressed the audiences with her performances in films like Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De, Happy Go Lucky, and Ardaas will be making her Bollywood debut with Remo D’souza’s upcoming flick Nawabzaade.

Speaking of her entry in Bollywood and the character in the film Isha said, “I have received a lot of appreciation and warmth for my work in Punjabi films and expect to entertain the viewers equally with my first Bollywood film and receive the same kind of response.
I play an innocent, girl next door who steals the hearts of three friends essayed by Raghav Juyal, Puneet Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande. I am happy to have received such a role cos I always wanted to play such characters. I did not want to make my debut in a glamorous avatar. A script that would bring out my talent and acting skills is what I wanted and I got exactly that”
Rikhi was a model for Being Human for Salman Khan, Show for Dollar with Akshay Kumar and the fashion designers Anju Modi, Rohit Verma, and Jattinn Kochhar. She also appeared on the cover page of Woman’s Era in Feb 2011, and in a commercial for Kalyan Jewellers with Amitabh Bachchan.
After enchanting us with their performance and wooing us with their chemistry in Remo D’Souza’s 2015 dance drama film ABCD 2, actors Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor are all set to bewitch us yet again in Jayesh Pradhan’s upcoming film Nawabzaade. The dance-based movie, which is produced by Remo D’Souza, stars Raghav Juyal, Punit Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande in the leads and has a special appearance by Shraddha and Varun.
Presented by T series and produced by Remo D’Souza under Remo D’Souza Entertainment and directed by Jayesh Pradhan, the film will hit the screens on 27 July 2018.
