It’s Match 5 of the Dream11 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) kickstart their season, taking on Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on 23 September. While KKR will be eager to make a winning start to the season, MI will be out to prove a point as well.

The Rohit Sharma-led unit had lost the season opener against Chennai Super Kings, following Ambati Rayudu and Faf du Plessis’ solid performances with the bat. However, if MI manage to return to winning ways against KKR, it will be their first win at this venue.

Andre Russell versus Kieron Pollard. Eoin Morgan versus Hardik Pandya. Add to this mix, Dinesh Karthik, Quinton de Kock, Rohit Sharma, Sunil Narine. It’s safe to say that we could be in for a six-fest. The bowlers from both the sides will have their task cut out. Which team do you think will hit maximum sixes in this game?

While MI lost their first game of the tournament, that could just be a blip. The quality of players the four-time champions possess is enviable. KKR, on the other hand, have bolstered their squad, bringing in the likes Morgan, Tom Banton, Pat Cummins. There is enough quality that both the sides have to offer and here are our top picks in the list of players to watch out for.

Rohit Sharma is one big innings away from joining Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli and veteran Chennai Super Kings batsman Suresh Raina in the list of players with 5000 or more runs in Indian Premier League.

Rohit is currently placed at the third position in the list of highest run-scorers in IPL with 4,910 runs. Raina and Kohli are the only two players to cross the 5,000 mark in IPL. While Kohli has scored 5426 runs in 178 matches at an average of 37.68, Raina has scored 5368 runs in 193 games at an average of 33.34.

Mumbai Indians’ batting line-up includes Rohit Sharma, Quinton de Kock, Saurabh Tiwary and Hardik Pandya. They have Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah and James Pattinson in a powerful bowling attack.

KKR have Eoin Morgan, Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell to deliver performance from bat. Their bowling is supported by Sunil Narine, Pat Cummins and Kuldeep Yadav.
