IPL 2018: Formidable SRH Face Struggling RCB

Kohli, who has once again led from the front with his willow getting him 357 runs, has been let down badly by the bowling and fielding

Hyderabad: Team Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore will come up for the first time this season in Match 39.

Sunrisers have been on a rampage at home and the Kane Williamson-led side will look to continue their good run against RCB as well. In their most recent outing at home on Saturday night, SRH posted their highest run-chase of the season and defeated the Delhi Daredevils.

Opener Shikhar Dhawan’s low rate must be a concern for them along with a shaky middle order. The inclusion of Alex Hales has infused much needed aggression at the top of the SRH batting order.Skipper Williamson has been in remarkable form for them this tournament, scoring 354 runs at an average of 51 and has quite an impressive rate of 130.

Sunrisers’ quick bowlers stats in VIVO IPL 2018 read as follows: Wickets taken 34, Economy rate 6.98. Every one of the four Indian pacers the team has used has been impressive and provided the team with important breakthroughs.

On other hand Shakib Al Hasan brings in a lot of balance to the SRH set-up as he contributes to the team’s cause with both bat and ball. Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan has been more lethal as he is bowling with a vengeance.

RCB lost the little breathing room they had after the loss to the Chennai Super Kings in their previous match. RCB have three wins from nine outings; given how the table is taking shape, they need to win each of their remaining matches to stand a chance of making the playoffs.

Kohli, who has once again led from the front with his willow getting him 357 runs, has been let down badly by the bowling and fielding.

Umesh Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have put up good performances but Hyderabad-lad Mohammad Siraj and also need to come up with a solid show.
