According to sources, on the lines of Howdy Modi in the US, American citizens of Gujarati origin will participate in the Howdy Trump-like event dubbed as “Kem chho, Mr President?” Gujarati for “How do you do, Mr President?” Apart from this, during the visit of Trump to India, the two countries may sign several bilateral deals.
When Prime Minister Modi had solicited votes for Trump during the Houston event, it had stirred up a controversy of interference in the domestic affairs of another country. The protocol for the event in India, with the same potential, will be designed in a way so that the Indian prime minister is not seen soliciting votes for any one party in the US presidential election.
