Hasin Jahan records her statement in camera against her cricketer husband

Kolkata: Hasin Jahan appeared before a local court here to record her statement in camera against her cricketer husband Mohammed Shami, a day after the city police began an investigation against the bowler, accused of domestic violence, intimidation, infidelity, and even match-fixing.

Hasin Jahan in a recent press conference has claimed that Mohammed Shami might have involved in match-fixing as he went Dubai to receive money from Alishba and the amount was delivered to him by a man called Mohammad Bhai, who stays in the UK.The city police began an investigation and sought information from the BCCI on tour scheduled for the cricketers, especially a visit to Dubai.

The Committee of Administrators (CoA) chairman Vinod Rai has instructed BCCI’s Anti-Corruption chief Neeraj Kumar to probe alleged corruption allegations against Mohammad Shami, surfaced during a reported telephonic conversation between the fast bowler and his wife Hasin Jahan.

Meanwhile, Pakistani girl Alishba claimed that the Indian bower was innocent and there had been no transaction of money. She even claimed that she was ready to come where-ever she needs for the rescue of Mohd Shami.

The Kolkata police also questioned some family members of the cricketer’s ancestral home at Amroha in UP to ascertain specifically whether any attempt was made to rape Hasin Jahan there. Hasin Jahan accused the cricketer of forcing her for such an act by one of her brother in laws in UP.

Hasin Jahan has also sought an appointment with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to meet and tell her the harrowing experiences meted out by her during stay with the cricketer.

Hasin Jahan, accompanied by her lawyers, recorded her statement at the Alipur court before a judicial magistrate as per directive by the court.
