New Delhi: Delhi University(DU) will announce its fifth cutoff list on Wednesday. The fifth cut off list has started being released by different colleges individually.

Ramjas and PGDAV (Evening) have already released their fifth cut off list. Colleges like Hindu, Hansraj, LSR, Daulat Ram are expected to release their fifth cut off list shortly. A consolidated list would be released on du.ac.in later tonight.

Most of the seats across the more popular courses are still vacant at Ramjas. BA English Hons and B.Com Hons, as well as BA Programme, is still open.

In PGDAV (Evening) college, almost for all courses, the seats have already closed but seats are still open in B.Com Hons course. The percentage has dropped further to 90.50% for the course. Almost all the seats, however, are available for reserved category.

There are only 12% remaining seats after the fourth cut-off list which was released by the varsity on 5 July. Around 50,000 seats out of the total 56,000 seats have already been filled.

Maximum admissions till now have been done in BA Programme with 8,612 seats being filled out of the total 10,172 seats. In BCom, there have been 5,137 admissions against a total of 6,483 seats. BCom (Hons) has a total of 6,273 seats and 5,085 admissions have been done.

The university has announced a total of four cut-off lists. While most of the seats are already filled for the general category but there are still few hopes for the reserved category.

The varsity threw open its admission portal for aspirants of various undergraduate courses on 15 May. The registration for these courses ended on 7 June. The first cut-off list was announced on 19 June.

The total number of male applicants are 1,44,248, women 1,34,297 and other applicants 29. According to an official from the university, 2,78,544 aspirants have made payments.

Last year, around 2.20 lakh candidates had made payments.
