Cut-off marks for DU 2020: First of 5 lists course & college-wise

Besides the top colleges, the cut-off for evening colleges as well as lesser-known off-campus colleges has gone higher than last year

The University of Delhi (DU)’s cut-off under the first list has gone as high as it can get — 100%. Lady Shri Ram College for Women is offering admission to BA (H) Economics, BA (H) Political Science and BA (H) Psychology programmes to students who have got 100% as their best of four subjects score.

Each of the three courses under the first list requires 100% marks. If seats are vacant, the required marks can be lowered in the second list.

For BCom (H), the college is accepting admission at and above 99.75% marks. BA (H) Economics, Political science are among the top courses this year.

At Hindu College, the cut-off mark for admission to BA (H) Economics is 99.25%. Besides the top colleges, the cut-off for evening colleges as well as lesser-known off-campus colleges has gone higher than last year.

Based on the cut-off marks, students must now select courses and colleges they are eligible for at this website and check the options.

There may be a total of five cut-off lists this year. The reason behind the high cut-off marks is the record-high number of applications coupled with more number of 95%-plus scorers in board exams. A total of 3,54,003 students had applied for about 70,000 undergraduate seats at DU. The number is 1.5 lakh higher than last year.
