New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today declared the results of CBSE Class 12 exam on its official website. A total of 88.78% of have passed the examination. There is an increase of 5.38% percentage in comparison to last year’s 83.40%.

While 92.15 of girls have passed, the pass percentage for boys is 86.16%. A total of 3.24% of or 38,686 students have scored more than 95% marks in CBSE 12th exam.

Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal congratulated the successful on Twitter, saying, “Dear Students, Parents and Teachers! CBSE has announced the results of Class XII and can be accessed at cbseresults.nic.in. We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate, Student’s health & quality education are our priority.”

In the case of who appeared for more than three subjects, the CBSE will award the “average of marks obtained in the best three performing subjects” for subjects where the exam was not held. For who appeared in exams in only three subjects, the board will award the average of marks obtained in “two best performing subjects” for papers where exams were not held.

For some who appeared for only 1 or 2 subjects, the result was calculated based on performance in subjects where the student appeared and performance in internal or practical or project-based assessment.

In Delhi, a total of 94.39% have passed the exam successfully.

How to check CBSE Class XII results on Google

Step 1: Open the Google/Chrome tab on your phone or desktop.

Step 2: Type ‘CBSE 12 Result 2020’ in the search box.

Step 3: After you select “CBSE 12 Result 2020” from the recommended searches, a CBSE window will open asking you for specific details like your roll number and say, date of birth, for verification.

Step 4: Enter the requested details and click on the “Check Exam Results” button, following which your results will be displayed. It’s as simple as that!
