CBSE Class 10th results 2019: Check yours this way

CBSE Class 10th results can be checked on the sites of the board, Google and a Microsoft application called SMS Organizer that works offline

New Delhi: CBSE Class 10th results 2019 are out. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has uploaded the results on its official website. A student can check her or his result also on this site or this one.

CBSE officials informed the media that over 1,80,000 students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 examination. In the current academic year 2018-19, CBSE had held the Class 10th examination between 21 February and 29 March.

The CBSE class 10 board exams were conducted in about 4,974 centres across the country and 72 exam centres overseas.

How to check CBSE Class 10 result 2019

— Go to the CBSE official website

— Click on “CBSE Class 12th Result 2019” or “CBSE Class 10th Result 2019”

— Enter your admit card details and get your CBSE Class 10 result 2019

— Download your CBSE result 2019 for future reference

Students can access their results via SMS. A user is charged 50 p for an SMS.

CBSE pass percentage

As many as 91.1% of the students have cleared the CBSE Class 10 exam this year, a quantum jump from 2018. Between 2014 and 2018, the pass percentage had been falling constantly.

How to check CBSE Class 10th result on Google

Google is the internet partner of the CBSE, letting students access their respective CBSE Class 10 results using the search engine.

A student can check her or his result on Google with the key-phrase “CBSE Class 10 result”. He/she will be asked the roll number for logging in and accessing the result. One cannot access the result of somebody else unless the roll number has leaked or has been shared.

Microsoft helps check CBSE class 10th results 2019 offline

Many students could be nowhere near a personal computer or data-enabled smartphone when they want to check their result. They can check their respective scores using SMS Organizer, a Microsoft application. It is an Android app that can e downloaded from Google Play Store.

  • Download the app from Google Play Store
  • Register with your roll number and CBSE Class 10th results school code.

If you are a pre-registered user, you will receive a notification for the CBSE Class 10th result. When you click on the link, a scorecard will reach you via SMS, where you can check the CBSE Class 10th result without internet connectivity, Microsoft said through a release.

An SMS costs 50 p.

CBSE helpline

To address the stress many students experience at the time of the results, the CBSE has launched a post-result helpline. Counsellors receive the calls from the other end. If you are tensed or have a question about your result, call 1800 11 8004 between 8 AM and 10 PM before 16 May.
