CBSE Class 10 result declared: Check your marks

The CBSE class 10, 12 exams were cancelled this year in view of the Covid-19 crisis. The students will be evaluated on the basis of internal assessment

The CBSE result 2021 has been declared. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can check their results at the official website of CBSE. Along with the official websites, candidates can also check their results at other digital platforms like the DigiLocker website (digilocker.gov.in) and the app will host the CBSE 10 results. 

The CBSE class 10, 12 exams were cancelled this year in view of the Covid-19 crisis. The students will be evaluated on the basis of internal assessment. As per the format set by the board for result formulation, for Class 10, 30% marks based on the average theory component of the best three performing subjects out of the main five subjects will be taken. 

The result, once announced will be available at the website- cbse.gov.in. Scroll down and click on ‘Roll Number Finder 2021’. Select a server. Click on ‘Continue’ on the next page. Select ‘Class 10’. Enter the names of the candidate, the mother, the and the candidate’s date of birth. Click on ‘ Data’ to find your CBSE roll number.

The examinations were scheduled to start on 4 May and end on 7 June, in offline mode. The practical examinations were to be conducted from 1 March. However, the surge in Covid-19 cases caused the Board to announce the cancellation of Class 10 examinations.

The CBSE results for students are being prepared on the basis of an alternative means of assessment, as the examinations could not be conducted due to the pandemic.

A total of 57,824 students scored above 95% marks in the CBSE exam. A total of 2 lakh (2,00,962) students scored between 90 t0 95% marks. A total of 24,420 foreign candidates cleared the class 10 exam successfully, recording a pass percentage of 99.92%. 

A total of 3.89 lakh (3,89,562) candidates from the region cleared the exam successfully, the pass percentage of the Class 10 exam recorded at 98.19%. 

Girls outperformed boys by 0.35%. The pass percentage of girls touched at 99.24%, while for boys it was 99.89%. The pass percentage of transgender candidates is 100%.
