Boney Kapoor and Janhvi remembers Sridevi on her birthday

In a striped tee with her hair left open, Sridevi looks effortlessly beautiful while Janhvi is just so cute in that matching white outfit with a cap

Mumbai: Today is Sridevi’s first birth anniversary after her untimely demise in February this year. On the occasion of her birth anniversary, Janhvi posted a snap of her with her parents. The picture is a mirror image where we can see her as an adorable toddler in mom’s arms. Dad Boney Kapoor is hugging the two. In a striped tee with her hair left open, Sridevi looks effortlessly beautiful while Janhvi is just so cute in that matching white outfit with a cap.

As a tribute to the legendary actress, Bollywood Art Project is building an 18-feet-tall mural painting of her on the wall of a building in Mumbai. The portrait will recreate Sridevi’s look from the 1993 film Gurudev.

This gesture has left the late actress’s husband Boney Kapoor emotional. On the eve of Sridevi’s birth anniversary, he fondly remembered her and said that he misses her every moment.

Boney said, “There are heroes and then there are legends, heroes get remembered but legends never die. Sri lives with us every day. Not a minute goes by when we don’t miss her.” The producer also thanked Bollywood Art Project for the honour on behalf of the Kapoor family, including daughters Janhvi and Khushi.

In a heartbreaking interview with a magazine, Janhvi Kapoor admitted that she is yet to come to terms with the fact that her beloved mother, Sridevi, is no more.

The late actor celebrated her 54th birthday last year with Manish Malhotra, Aishwarya Rai, Rani Mukerji, Rekha, Tina Ambani, Vidya Balan, Karan Johar and Shabana Azmi at Manish’s home. She posted pictures from the party on Instagram and even thanked Manish for hosting the wonderful get-together. Definitely her friends must miss her dearly today. Sridevi died of accidental drowning in February. She was in Dubai for her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding. The actor’s many friends in Bollywood and all around the world were heartbroken at the news and almost every star attended her funeral in Mumbai.
