Bigg Boss Tamil 2: A worker dies on sets of Kamal Haasan’s show

In a shocking incident, a worker on the sets of Bigg Boss 2 Tamil died after he accidentally fell down from the 2nd floor

Chennai: Bigg Boss Tamil 2, which is being hosted by Kamal Haasan, is quite in the news for some or other reasons. Now, the reality show, which is being shot on the sets at EVP Film City at Chembarambakkam, in Chennai, is in the news over an unfortunate incident.

In a shocking incident, a worker on the sets of Bigg Boss 2 Tamil died after he accidentally fell down from the 2nd floor. The incident took place on 8 September with a worker named Gunashekaran. He was an AC mechanic from Ariyalur town.

The Nazarethpet police are reportedly looking into the incident and a case has been registered. During the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil, which took place in Mumbai, one of the workers, a 28-year-old man, was electrocuted and died from the resulting seizures.

Given the behaviour of housemates on Bigg Boss 2 Tamil, the show has been continuously trolled. Kamal Haasan, who is back on the show as the host, even addressed the same onscreen.

Kamal Haasan’s Bigg Boss season 2 will end in just over 15 days. The most recently evicted contestant was Sendrayan, and this had shocked both the audience and Kamal on Sunday. Next week’s nomination will see Riythvika face the nomination directly.

The second season began with a total of 16 participants. The participants are: Yashika Aannand, Ponnambalam, Mahat Raghavendra, Daniel Annie Pope, Vaishnavi Prasad, Janani Iyer, Ananth Vaidyanathan, Ramya NSK, Sendrayan, Riythvika, Mumtaz, Thadi Balaji, Mamathi Chari, Nithya Balaji, Shariq Hassan Khan and Aishwarya Dutta entered in Bigg Boss 2 Tamil house. Now the stage is set for the elimination of 10th participants.

The show has been making headlines ever since its launch, because of the controversies taking place inside the house. The host, Kamal Haasan had even revealed the second teaser of his latest film, Vishwaroopam 2 on the show, ahead of its release on 10 August.
