Mumbai: Big B recently flew to Hyderabad earlier on Wednesday to join the sets of upcoming multilingual period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which has superstar Chiranjeevi playing the titular role.
Bachchan, where he is seen sharing screen space with Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, has finally joined the shooting crew in Hyderabad for his cameo appearance.
Telugu period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, with Chiranjeevi in the title role, is based on Rayalaseema freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
Big B has tweeted a picture from the look tests he did for the big budget movie. In Telugu, Big B praised his co-star, expressing his happiness about getting to share screen space with Chiranjeevi.

Amitabh will be playing a cameo in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy that boasts of an all-star cast.The film is produced by Ram Charan’s home production banner Konidela Production Company.
Actos Nayanthara, Kiccha Sundeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathy Babu are also in the cast of the film. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman is also on board for the film.
Film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is based on Rayalaseema freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. He is considered to be one of the first freedom fighters in India and his first revolt against the British rule came a decade before India’s first war of independence in 1857. He was captured and publicly hanged in 1847.
Film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is reportedly one of Chiranjeevi’s most expensive films. According to multiple reports, the makers are spending almost Rs 150 crores for the film.
Big B will next be seen in 102 Not Out alongside Rishi Kapoor and Aamir Khan starrer Thugs of Hindostan.
102 Not Out will release in May 2018 and will reunite him with Kapoor onscreen after a gap of twenty-seven years.
Bachchan will appear in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt also.
