Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi today questioned the Narendra Modi government for deporting Rohingya Muslims back to Myanmar. He said Sri Lankan refugees were staying in Tamil Nadu even after being accused of spreading terrorism, so were Chakma people of Bangladesh, who came to India in 1971 and have been living in Arunachal Pradesh and so are Tibetans led by its spiritual leader Dalai Lama, who is treated as a guest in India.
Owaisi was speaking at a pubic meet in Hyderabad. He asked if Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen could be \”Modi’s sister\”, why should the Rohingyas not be treated as his brothers.
Owaisi claims that the Constitution gives the Right to Equality and the Right to Life not only to its own citizens but to all refugees as well.
