Sridevi and Arjun Kapoor didn’t share a cordial relationship with each other after the latter’s mother died six years ago before watching her son’s debut film Ishaqzaade which released in the same year.

Arjun Kapoor had said in 2014, “I am sure I’ve had various degrees of emotions against her and him. I only look forward. I try to make it a point not to dwell on what could have, what should have.”

However, Arjun Kapoor has been by his step-sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor’s side at Anil Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai ever since the news broke of Sridevi’s demise. He was the pillar of strength for the Kapoors during the emotional time. Arjun Kapoor left his Namaste England shoot mid-way to be with his family after Sridevi’s death.
