Terrorists have suffered a major setback in the Kashmir valley. Top Army sources claim that terrorist organisation Ansar Ghazwat ul Hind has been wiped out from the Valley. The head of this terrorist organisation was Zakir Musa, after whose death Abdul Hameed Lelhari had taken command.
The security forces killed Abdul Hameed Lelhari on Tuesday. Another terrorist, a close associate, has been liquidated by the security forces. He has been identified as Naved Hussain.
After the elimination of terrorist Zakir Musa, Ansar Ghazwat ul Hind had announced its new chief. After Zakir Musa, terrorist Hamid Lelhari was given the responsibility to spread fear and terror in Jammu and Kashmir.
Hamid Lelhari is a local terrorist. Commander Musa, who was associated with Hizb ul Mujahideen, was made the chief of Ansar Ghazwat ul Hind on 27 July 2017. Ansar Ghazwat ul Hind is the name of the Indian branch of the notorious terrorist organisation al Qaidah. The brief of this organisation is to spread the message of Al Qaeda in India.
In 2003, Zakir Musa was studying in an engineering college in Chandigarh. One fine morning, he disappeared, leaving his academic pursuit. A few weeks later, Musa returned to Kashmir as a terrorist to represent young Kashmiri terrorists. Initially, he had joined Hizb, but after some differences cropped up with Syed Salahuddin and other honchos of Hizb, he formed the terrorist organisation Ansar Ghazwat ul Hind.
Zakir Musa was the new poster boy of terror after Burhan Wani in Jammu and Kashmir. Police and security agencies had been searching for him for a long time. Coincidentally, Zakir Musa was killed in almost the same area of Pulwama where, in 2016, the Army killed Hizb commander Burhan Wani.
Terrorist Zakir Musa was associated with Hizb ul Mujahideen before 2017. But after a few days, he snapped his links with this terrorist organisation and formed Ansar Ghazwat ul Hind. Musa began to describe himself as a henchman of the notorious terrorist Osama bin Laden. A video of his, where he was seen carrying weapons with his teammates, had gone viral in 2017.
