New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is all set to suffer a big setback before the Lok Sabha elections. Party legislator Alka Lamba has indicated she is joining the Congress once again.

Alka replied in response to a question asked about joining the Congress, “I have not received any such proposal from the Congress. However, if such a proposal comes, it would be a matter of honour for me.”

Not only this, Alka said that she had given the Congress 20 years of her life. Lamba said, “The Congress has to take a decision in this regard. An uninvited guest is not welcomed anywhere.”

The statement of “giving 20 years to the Congress” is being interpreted to mean that the Congress can admit Lamba in a few days.

Lamba’s relationship with Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal hit a new low recently. Lamba, the MLA from Chandni Chowk, is considered among the flamboyant leaders of the party ruling in Delhi.
