New Delhi: It was at The Economic Times Global Business Summit 2015 that Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlined his grand economic and development vision for the country for the first time. It was also at this event that  Prize-winning economist, Paul Krugman, referred to India as “a country of the future”.

Following the tremendous success of this debut, the two brands have come together once again to bring the second edition of the and The Economic Times Global Business Summit. The 2-day summit to be held at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi on 29-30 January promises to bring together over 1,500 business and political leaders, policymakers and thinkers from more than 10 countries.

As India assumes a greater role in Asia and global affairs, the summit will gather thought leaders and visionaries from across the world to enable a captivating on solutions to pressing global economic issues and share best practices to resolve these concerns. Another stellar participant at the summit will be Kathleen Wynne, a Canadian politician who is also the 25th Premier of Ontario. The summit is an integral part of Kathleen’s 2016 India visit, aimed at fostering opportunities for trade and investment collaboration betweenOntario and India.

The two-day long discourse would also witness thoughtful deliberation and discussion by leading international business leaders and thinkers such as Global Chairman of McKinsey Dominic Barton and Boston Consulting Group CEO Hans Paul Buerkner besides ace Indian industrialists like Bharti Enterprises chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal, Unilever CEO Sanjiv Mehta, Piramal Group chairman Ajay Piramal, etc.
