Mumbai: Love blossoming between Bollywood stars and cricketers is now an age-old tale. Whether it be the fairytale connection between Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore or the recent modern-day romance between Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma who tied the knot in an intimate and beautiful Italian wedding and gave the entire country something to sigh over for days, this union between cricket and Bollywood is harmonious and something we can all get behind.

In a recent report, according to media report, another Bollywood and cricket couple is on the rise and they are said to be dating from the past two years. Indian cricket team coach Ravi Shastri and Airlift actress Nimrat Kaur. Duo has been dating each other for two years now and has successfully managed to keep the news under the wraps. Up until now of course. Well, both Shastri and Nimrat were roped in by a German luxury carmaker to launch its cars every year since 2015.

Sagarika Ghatge married Zaheer Khan despite a massive age difference while Geeta Basra and Hazel Keech are now wives to Harbhajan and Yuvraj Singh. Meanwhile, in 2012, Ravi broke his marriage of 22 years with ex-wife Ritu. The couple has a daughter together who they named Aleka.

While Nimrat is known to keep her private life under the wraps, Ravi Shastri dated another Bollywood actress, Amrita Singh back in the mid 80s. However, the two called it off later.

Kaur made her film debut with a small role in an English film, One Night with the King, which was shot in Rajasthan. Her Hindi film debut came with Peddlers in 2012, produced by Anurag Kashyap. The film was screened at Cannes Film Festival to good reviews.

On the work front, Nimrat has been filming a popular web-series. Shastri, on the other hand, is currently in the UK where the Indian team is playing a Test match against England.
